Draw the company logo over car photos on the customer and partner portals
The watermark draws the company logo over car photos that the dealership shares through the customer and partner portals.
Requirements:
Until a logo exists, the Watermark page shows the note "A company logo is required before the watermark can be enabled." The note links to Settings › Company. The Enable the watermark switch stays disabled.
The toast The watermark settings have been saved. confirms the change.
| Setting | Values | Starting value |
|---|---|---|
| Enable the watermark | On or off | Off |
| Position | Top Left, Top Right, Center, Bottom Left, Bottom Right | Bottom Right |
| Size | 5 to 50 per cent of the photo width | 18 per cent |
| Opacity | 1 to 100 per cent | 70 per cent |
| Tile | On or off | Off |
When Tile is on, the field Position is disabled and the text "Position does not apply to a tiled watermark." appears. The slider Size then sets the width of each repeated logo.
The card Preview draws the logo over a sample car photo in the browser. The text on the card states that the delivered photo matches the position, size and opacity. The preview shows the text "The preview requires a company logo." when no logo exists.
When the dealership plan includes watermarking, a logo exists and the switch is on, these photos carry the watermark:
Videos on the customer portal do not carry the watermark. Photos inside the dashboard do not carry the watermark either. The stored original photo does not change.
When the switch is off, the plan does not include watermarking, or no logo exists, the portals show the plain photos.
