Shared Pages
Partner Page
The tabs, the data and the actions of the shared partner page
The partner page shows the account of one sales partner with the dealership. The page has four tabs: Statement, Deals, Documents and Messages.
| Tab | Content |
|---|
| Statement | The balance, the figures behind it, the standing terms and the recent payments. |
| Deals | Every open and won deal that names the partner. |
| Documents | The documents that the dealership shared with the partner and the documents that the partner uploaded. |
| Messages | A conversation with the dealership. |
The statement states the balance as Owed to you, Owed by you or Settled. These labels address the partner. The statement also shows:
- Earned: the commission earned.
- Paid to you: the payments from the dealership to the partner.
- Received from you: the payments from the partner to the dealership.
- The number of closed deals and of deals in progress.
- Your terms: the standing terms of the partner, or "No standing terms recorded."
- Recent movements: the latest payments, or "No payments have been recorded yet."
The figures come from the books of the dealership at the moment of opening.
The button Confirm this statement records that the figures match the records of the partner as of today. The dashboard stores the confirmation with the date. The page then shows "Confirmed on" and the date. The dashboard computes the confirmed figures from its own books. The partner cannot enter a figure.
The tab shows a table with the columns Car, Deal, Buyer, Status and Date. The button Columns shows or hides columns. Selecting a deal opens a panel with these parts.
- Money: the sale price, Your commission and the Rate. The commission reads "Not yet closed" until the deal is won.
- Car Details: the specification, the VIN and the plate, when recorded.
- The Buyer: the name, the country and the city of the buyer.
- Invoices: the invoices that the dealership released on the deal to a buyer whom the partner introduced, each with a download button.
Deals that were lost or cancelled do not appear.
The buyer appears only when the partner introduced the buyer. The page never shows the contact details of a buyer. A buyer whom the dealership found without the partner stays hidden, even on a deal that names the partner.
- Download shared documents. A download link works for a few minutes.
- Upload a document. Select Send a document and choose Partner Agreement, Contract, ID Document or Other. Accepted files are PDF, JPG, PNG, Markdown, Word and Excel files. Each file is at most 25 MB. A partner can upload at most 20 files.
- Send messages of up to 5000 characters.
- Confirm the statement.
- Switch the language of the page.
- The purchase price or the costs of a car.
- Other partners.
- Ledger entries that do not belong to the partner.
- Internal notes of the dealership.
- Tasks.
- The contact details of a buyer.
- A protected link first shows "This link is protected" and asks for the password. The guide Share a partner page describes the password.
- An invoice appears in the deal panel only when it is shared with the customer, its document exists and it is billed to a buyer whom the partner introduced. An invoice that names any other buyer never appears on the page. See Share an invoice with the customer.
