Awaiting Payments

Review Payments

Filter and sort the worklist and read the totals of what is still outstanding

The page opens on the amounts with the status Awaiting, ordered by due date. It shows what the dealership still expects to receive and to pay.

Requirements

The permission Financial Records Access is required.

Steps

  1. Open Awaiting in the Finance group of the sidebar.
  2. Enter text in the search field. The placeholder reads Item, note…. Each word must appear in the item name or the note.
  3. Open the direction menu and select In and Out, To Receive or To Pay.
  4. Open the status menu and tick Awaiting, Settled or Cancelled. The menu button reads Any Status when no box is ticked.
  5. Open the Category menu and tick categories.
  6. Set Due From and Due To. Future dates can be selected.
  7. Select the header Due, Amount or Added to change the order.
  8. Select Clear All to return to the default view. The default view shows only Awaiting amounts.

The heading shows the number of matching amounts. The table shows 25 rows per page.

Overdue amounts

A Due date is shown in red when the status is Awaiting and the date is earlier than today. Settled and cancelled amounts are never overdue. Their amounts appear struck through.

Sort order

  • Due sorts by due date. Amounts without a due date always appear last.
  • Amount sorts by the amount in the dealership currency.
  • Added sorts by the date the amount was created.

A due date range excludes amounts that have no due date.

Read the totals

A bar at the bottom shows three figures for all matching amounts on every page.

The first figure sums the money in and the second sums the money out. The third equals the first minus the second. Amounts use the dealership currency and the rate frozen when each amount was created.

Choose the columns

Select Columns. Item and Amount cannot be hidden.

ColumnShown by default
Category, Due, Status, Vehicle, Customer, Partner, AddedYes
Deal, Method, Note, AttachmentsNo

The customer and the partner come from the deal of the amount. A car-only amount has neither. The Partner column is empty for team members who cannot read partners. The choice is stored in the browser.

Notes

  • With no rows, the page shows Nothing Outstanding. With filters set, it shows No Matching Amounts.
  • The Transactions page does not include awaiting amounts.
