# Integrations (https://docs.carlio.app/docs/settings/integrations)

Pair a Telegram group with the dealership and choose which updates the group receives

The **Integrations** page connects the dealership to outside services. The page offers Telegram groups. Each connected group receives the dealership updates that the group selects.

**Requirements:** The page opens for team members with the permission to update the organization. By default, only the owner holds this permission. Telegram must be configured for the Carlio installation. Otherwise the Telegram card shows the badge **Unavailable** and **Connect Group** stays disabled.

## Connect a group [#connect-a-group]

1. Open **[Settings](https://carlio.app/dashboard/settings)**, then **[Integrations](https://carlio.app/dashboard/settings/integrations)**.
2. On the **Telegram** card, select **Connect Group**. The **Telegram Groups** dialog opens.
3. In the section **Add a group**, select **Connect Group**. The dialog shows a command in the form `/link` followed by a code.
4. Select **Copy** to copy the command.
5. Add the bot to the Telegram group of the dealership.
6. Ask a member of that group to send the command in the group.

The dialog shows the message **Waiting for the command to be sent in the group.** The group connects automatically after the command arrives. The command expires after 10 minutes.

Closing the dialog before the command arrives does not cancel the pairing. Reopening the dialog shows the same command until the command expires.

One dealership can connect several groups, for example one per team, yard or language. Each group chooses its own updates.

## Choose the updates for a group [#choose-the-updates-for-a-group]

1. Open **[Settings](https://carlio.app/dashboard/settings)**, then **[Integrations](https://carlio.app/dashboard/settings/integrations)**.
2. On the **Telegram** card, select **Manage**.
3. In the list **Connected groups**, find the group. Each row shows the group name and either the @handle or the text **Private group**.
4. Select the updates button on the row. The button reads **All Updates**, **No updates**, or a count such as **3 of 9 Updates**.
5. Select or clear the checkbox of each update. Select **All** or **None** to change every checkbox at once.

Each change saves at once. A toast names the change. A new group receives every update until the first change is made.

A group can receive these nine updates:

Update
----------------------
Task status changed
Task completed
Deal Won
Deal Lost
Vehicle Status Changed
New Customer Message
New Customer Document
New Partner Message
Payment Overdue

The dashboard labels the car update **Vehicle Status Changed**. Personal updates, such as an assigned task, never reach a group. They stay in the notification settings of each team member.

## Send a test message [#send-a-test-message]

On the row of the group, select the icon with the tooltip **Send a test message**. The toast **The test message has been sent.** confirms delivery. A failure shows the reason in an error toast.

## Disconnect a group [#disconnect-a-group]

On the row of the group, select the icon with the tooltip **Disconnect**. The group disconnects at once, without a confirmation step. The toast **The Telegram group has been disconnected.** confirms the change. Connect the group again with a new command to restore it.

## What the reader sees [#what-the-reader-sees]

The badge on the **Telegram** card reads **Connected** for one group and **N Groups Connected** for several. The badge reads **Not connected** when no group is connected.

## Notes [#notes]

* A group with the text **Reconnection required** next to the name cannot receive updates. The row offers only **Disconnect**. Disconnect the group and pair it again.
* The **Integrations** page also shows a **WhatsApp** card. The card carries the badge **Soon** and a disabled **Connect** button. WhatsApp cannot be connected.
