Give a partner a private link to a statement of deals and commissions, with an optional password



Issue a portal link so that a partner can read the statement, the deals and the documents shared by the dealership.

**Requirements:** The **Issue Partner Portal Links** permission and **Partner Commission Access**. The **Partner Portal** card does not appear without both, because the link publishes commission figures.

## Create the link [#create-the-link]

1. Open the partner page.
2. In the **Partner Portal** card, select **Create link**.

The toast **Portal link created** confirms the link. The card shows **Open Portal**, the date under **Expires** and the status under **Password**.

## Send the link [#send-the-link]

1. In the **Partner Portal** card, open the menu.
2. Select **Language** to choose the language of the page. The option **Their language** lets the browser of the partner decide.
3. Select **Copy link** or **Send on WhatsApp**.

The toast **Link copied** confirms a copy. **Send on WhatsApp** opens a message to the phone number of the partner, when the record has one.

## Protect the link with a password [#protect-the-link-with-a-password]

1. In the menu of the **Partner Portal** card, select **Set a password**. The option reads **Change password** when a password exists.
2. In **New password**, enter at least 8 characters.
3. Select **Save password**.

The toast reads **Password set. Anyone already signed in must enter it again.** The portal opens only with the password. Send the password separately from the link.

To remove the password, select **Remove password** in the menu. The link then opens without a password.

## Replace or delete the link [#replace-or-delete-the-link]

* **Change Link** creates a new link and stops the old link. The toast reads **Portal link rotated**.
* **Delete** removes the link and the password. The toast reads **Portal link and password revoked**.

## Notes [#notes]

* A new link expires after 365 days. The **Expires** row shows the date.
* Without a password, anyone who holds the link can open the portal.
* Changing the password requires every device that already entered the old password to enter the new one.
