# Overview Page (https://docs.carlio.app/docs/overview/read-the-overview-page)

The greeting, the reporting period and the four headline figures

The **Overview** page opens when a team member signs in. The top of the page holds the greeting, the reporting period and the quick actions. The four headline figures follow.

## The greeting [#the-greeting]

The line above the greeting names the dealership. The greeting reads **Good morning**, **Good afternoon** or **Good evening**, followed by the first name of the team member. The time of day follows the clock of the server. Morning ends at 12:00 and afternoon ends at 18:00.

## Change the reporting period [#change-the-reporting-period]

1. Find the **Reporting Period** control at the top of the page.
2. Select **7D**, **30D**, **90D** or **12M**.

The names of the periods are **Last 7 Days**, **Last 30 Days**, **Last 90 Days** and **Last 12 Months**. The default is **30D**.

The period applies to the headline figures, to the **Cash Flow** chart and to the **Top Partners** widget. The other widgets do not depend on the period.

The control does not appear while the **Getting Started** checklist is the only content of the page. See [Complete the Getting Started checklist](/docs/overview/complete-the-getting-started-checklist).

## The headline figures [#the-headline-figures]

| Figure | Value | Context line |
| ----------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Cars In Stock** | The number of cars with the status **Checked**, **Bought** or **In Inventory**. | The number of cars added in the period. |
| **Deals Won** | The number of deals won in the period. | The total sale value of those deals. Without access to deal finances, the line reads **Over the last 30 days**, with the chosen period in place of 30 days. |
| **Open Deals** | The number of deals that are still open. | The value of the pipeline. Without access to deal finances, the line states the number of deals opened in the period. |
| **Net Cash Flow** | Money in minus money out in the period. | The period. |
| **Overdue Tasks** | The number of open tasks whose due date has passed. | The number of tasks due this week. |

The fourth place shows **Net Cash Flow** for team members who may read transactions. Other team members see **Overdue Tasks** in that place.

A small badge on **Cars In Stock**, **Deals Won** and **Net Cash Flow** shows the change against the equal period before. The badge is absent when no earlier figure exists. A negative **Net Cash Flow** and a positive count of **Overdue Tasks** appear in a warning color.

Selecting a figure opens the related page.

| Figure | Page |

## Notes [#notes]

* The counts of cars, deals and tasks are visible to every team member. Only the money amounts depend on permissions.
* A widget that fails to load shows a message that asks for a refresh of the page.
