The start page of the dashboard, the menu and the notifications



The **Overview** page is the first page of the dashboard. It shows the headline figures of the dealership, the work that is due and the state of the inventory. The menu, the header and the notification feed surround every page of the dashboard.

## What the area contains [#what-the-area-contains]

| Part                          | Purpose                                                                     |
| ----------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Overview** page             | A greeting, a reporting period, four headline figures and a set of widgets. |
| Quick actions                 | Buttons that open the form for a new car, task, deal, customer or partner.  |
| **Getting Started** checklist | Four steps for a new dealership.                                            |
| Sidebar                       | The menu of the dashboard, the account menu and the **Latest Update** card. |
| Header                        | The sidebar button, the breadcrumb and the notification bell.               |
| **Notifications** page        | The full list of notifications of the signed-in team member.                |

## Access [#access]

Every team member can open the **Overview** page. The page adapts to the permissions of the team member. A member without access to the financial records sees only the **Tasks** and **Arriving Soon** widgets, and sees **Overdue Tasks** in the fourth headline figure. Money amounts that the member may not read are left out.

## Notification settings [#notification-settings]

The channels of each notification, the browser notifications and the connection to Telegram are set on the **Notifications** page in the settings. These guides do not describe that page.
