Shipments, containers and the shipment map



The **Exports** page lists every car that has a shipping record. It shows where each car is, who carries it and when it is expected to arrive.

## What the area contains [#what-the-area-contains]

| Part              | Purpose                                                                                                   |
| ----------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Exports list      | One row for each car with shipping details. The list has filters, search, sorting and selectable columns. |
| Shipping record   | The carrier, the shipping references, the route and the dates of one car.                                 |
| Shipment tracking | Automatic updates of the vessel, the route and the arrival date from the carrier.                         |
| **Containers**    | A workspace that shows the cars loaded into each container.                                               |
| **Map**           | A map of every tracked shipment.                                                                          |

## Access [#access]

Every team member of the dealership can open the **Exports** page, the **Containers** workspace and the **Map**. Every change requires permission to update cars. The owner and manager roles hold this permission by default. The staff role does not.

## Terms [#terms]

The dashboard uses the word "Vehicle" in some labels on these pages. The guides use the word "car" for the same thing.
