Read the purchase history of a customer and the cars linked to the customer



Review the **Deals** tab to answer questions such as which cars the customer bought and where each car is now.

**Requirements:** **Customer Directory Access**. The sale price needs **Deal Financial Access**. The partner name needs **Partner Directory Access**. The button **Attach car** needs the deal update permission.

## Steps [#steps]

1. Select **[Customers](https://carlio.app/dashboard/customers)** in the sidebar and open the customer.
2. Open the **Deals** tab. The tab number counts the deals and the cars without a deal.
3. Read the **Deals** card. Each row is one deal.
4. Select the text of a row to open the deal. Select the photo of the car to open the car.

## What a deal row shows [#what-a-deal-row-shows]

| Item         | Content                                                                    |
| ------------ | -------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Title        | The car name, or **No car attached yet**                                   |
| First line   | The deal number, the sales partner and the date the deal was opened        |
| Second line  | The plate and the VIN of the car                                           |
| Freight line | The destination and the expected arrival date, when the car has a shipment |
| Price        | The sale price in the currency of the deal                                 |
| Badges       | The status of the deal and the stage of the car                            |

The empty card shows **Nothing bought yet**.

## Attach a car to a deal without one [#attach-a-car-to-a-deal-without-one]

1. In the row of the deal, select **Attach car**.
2. In the dialog **Attach a Vehicle**, select the car in **Vehicle**.
3. Select **Attach**.

The button appears only on deals that have no car. See [Attach a car to a deal](/docs/deals/attach-a-car-to-a-deal) for the rules.

## Cars without a deal [#cars-without-a-deal]

The card **Cars Without a Deal** lists cars that the customer asked about through a task, without a sale. The card appears only when such cars exist. Each row shows the car, the number of tasks, the plate, the VIN, the freight line and the stage of the car. Select a row to open the car.

## Notes [#notes]

* The tab shows up to 50 deals of the customer in any status, including **Lost** and **Cancelled** deals.
* The customer record does not open deals. Open a deal from the **Deals** page or from a car. See [Open a deal](/docs/deals/open-a-deal).
* The **Purchases** column of the customer list counts the deals shown here.
